The Tribal Technical Assistance Program is part of a nationwide effort sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
The intention of TTAP is to relate the latest technology and information on tribal roads and bridges, tourism and recreation, and related economic development to tribal transportation and planning personnel.
TTAP provides technology transfer through training workshops, a quarterly newsletter, and the operation of free publication and videotape training libraries.

Forklift Operation and Safety Training can be scheduled for your agency.

We Offer Three Types of Forklift Training



  • Forklift in the Food Division - One day training dealing with operating a forklift around food. $125 per person.

  • Forklift in the Commercial and Industrial Class - Three day training focuses on the use of various lifting equipment around the offices, casino, or other tribal parking lots and buildings. $350 per person.

  • Forklift in the Heavy Equipment Division for Construction - Three day training focuses on the use of various heavy lifting equipment for construction purposes including slide booms, all-terrain forklifts, loaders, and skid-steer type equipment. $350 per person.

Some of the many topics covered in this three day workshop include:
  • Operate a bulldozer, backhoe, front end loader, dump truck, and tractor with equipment trailer

  • Care and routine maintenance of each type of heavy equipment
